Slaidburn Steam and Vintage Vehicle Display
We are proud to be the home of this event. It has been running for over 30 years, being organised by David McNamee and raising in excess of £80000 for local organisations.
The event is held over a weekend in June each year. Taking place on the pub carpark, garden and the croft the event grows with both exhibitors and visitors each year. It's a family friendly event with no admission fees.

Brass at the Bounty
Slaidburn Silver Band play four concerts during summer months at the Hark to Bounty. These concerts take place on the last Thursday of May, June, July and August. Starting at 7.15pm and playing until 9pm. The event takes place in the garden if the weather permits and in the courtroom if not.

Hodder Valley Show
The Hodder Valley Show in an agricultural show which changes venu in rotation between Slaidburn, Newton and Dunsop Bridge. The event is held the second Saturday of September. It's a fantastic day out for all the family. Regardless of the weather the day is always worth a visit.
There are livestock exhibits along with handicrafts, preserves, fruit and vegetables entries. Local produce is sold in the food hall and there are plenty of trade and craft stands to keep everyone interested.
